Residenza Eos

I stayed here for 6 nights and the apartment was absolutely perfect. It is in a perfect location to explore Ortigia and had plenty space for me to unpack along with a very well-stocked kitchen. The owner was so helpful and always responded to my questions, and was even able to accommodate me when I arrived in Ortigia ahead of schedule and still handed over a spotlessly clean apartment. I would absolutely recommend this place and would be happy to stay again!

Nothing it was dark dingy, dirty and building work from 8am.

Where to start? It was dark, dingy and dirty. Builders renovating apartment below from 8am. Stained bedding and the wall behind the bed pillows was filthy with makeup and squashed mosquitoes! The bathroom had lots of half used toiletries left behind which the owner seemed to think was a free amenity, the shower door was broken and the wall was mouldy where the towels hung.The terrace area only vaguely resembled the pictures on the website. It was filthy and cluttered with old mops and brushes and broken plant pots. In fact the pictures are all misleading as they show the apartment as being bright and airy. It most certainly isn’t! The view from the bedroom window is other apartments rubbish on the rooftop outside. The kitchen has expired food in the cupboards and dirty utensils hanging off the walls, and a bowl of walnuts with small flies crawling over the tablecloth below them. We spent one night of the 3 we had paid for and left as soon as possible the next morning finding a fantastic 4 star hotel nearby for much less than we paid for this apartment. We booked this place on account of the reviews but obviously standards have slipped badly.

Great apartment fully equipped with nice extras

Spacious airy,apartment with shutters in the old town. Ideal safe location. Facilities . Generous supply of kitchen equipment kettle, dishes, cooking utensils,oven.etc.Helpful to have a good supply of bottled water teas, coffee capsules, wrapped baked goods, hygiene products etc left for us. Very helpful owner. Lovely roof terrace, with umbrella, upright chairs, plants and a clothes line . Quiet at night but so central.

Brilliant location.. Terrace (shared) was a real bonus. Bed was really comfortable. I'd love to come back for months! Met by Pierluigi's Mama - baskets bursting with goodies for us - milk, coffee, tea, fresh fruit, muffins, breakfast bars. .

it wasn’t a big issue but appartment is on the 1. floor with no elevator

great style, everything you could need was provided. warm staff. it was like being at home, but in Ortigia! easy check in/great communication! loved the furnishings, plenty of space for our things. this was our favorite lodging in all of Sicily, including a posh hotel in Taormina!

I’m very sensitive to lighting due to an eye issue, would have liked one more lamp in bedroom and for stove overhead light (just to make morning coffee).

This is a very cute apartment in the heart of Ortygia, conveniently located to all the main sights, yet in a quiet and secluded place. The property benefits from a roof terrace, where you can enjoy your breakfast, coffee or glass of wine. You need 15-20 minutes to get there from the bus or train station. Plenty of restaurants nearby, all of them decent. The property has a character and style and is an attraction itself. We loved it!

excellent location every where was in easy walking distance.

The toilet leaked and made a dreadful noise. Noise kept us both wake most of the night. Address of property is not as listed. not an issue as location fine, just hassle finding it and when pre booked taxi dropped us off.
