Self Catering Unit , Sandbaai

The accommodation was easy enough to find. I enjoyed that there was a convenience store around the corner so that we could grab some milk to use for tea/coffee easily when we arrived in Sandbaai at night. The accommodation is a very short drive to Hermanus and Onrus, which made it a great lock-up and go experience. Even though we only needed it for an overnight stay, I was pleasantly surprised to see a 2 plate gas stove and basic equipment to make a meal. The host is truly thoughtful and makes sure that you know you can call on her if you need anything.

In unit 6, where we stayed, there was a separate basin and shower setup in the bedroom. We did not use it as the main bathroom/shower was more than sufficient. There was an electrical socket very close to the bedroom shower that made me uncomfortable. The mix of water and electricity so close together doesn't seem safe to me. It would be nice to have a plug point right by the beds to charge our phones. There were plugpoints in the room, but I prefer being able to plug my phone in on the bedside table.

The bed had an irritating crackling noise

All you need. Very clean. Near the sea. Friendly service. Enjoy my stay and will stay over again.

Path to the rooms at the back is a little bit uneven. Bed is a little bit squeaky.
