Self Catering Unit , Sandbaai

Nice and quite place. Jacquie was friendly and met us on arrival and send us odd on departure.

Was very hot, would love a fan or air cooler

1st of all the great welcome you get as you arrive

Love all the trees and plants but a very quiet area

So good to have a 2 ring stove for self-catering , so many places provide just a microwave. Also a reasonable price for a solo traveller, especially in high season. The flat was clean and comfortable and Jacquie offers a warm greeting, gives you space whilst you are staying, and wishes you well on departure, taking time to chat.

An ordinary chair to sit at the table when eating a hot meal would be beneficial.

It is outstanding value for money. All of the amenities are there, it is spacious and comfortable and the host is lovely - all at the most competitive price in the area (Hermanus, Onrus, Sandbaai: the wider area).

It is not luxury: no beachfront views, it's not well lit, and it's a tiny bit worn. But, in the way that a well-loved home is worn, it adds to the charm and hospitality.
