Stone Chimney Cottage

So quaint and spacious- a real hidden gem that was perfect for our needs

Quiet location. Balcony nice to sit out in the evening. Just a lovely cottage, really enjoyed our stay and hope to see you again

Downstairs shower difficult to regulate temperature On a personal note, we would have liked a more user friendly braai, suitable for 2 people, small gas braai maybe, especially during load shedding

Well situated, neat and comfortable

Lovely location, within walking distance to the beach and the cliff path. Fantastic little restaurant not even 200m down the road so if you looking for a weekend away when you can ditch the car and walk around then this place is for you. Very comfy beds and linen. Nice braai area outside. Owner was very responsive.

Wifi was a bit dodgy depending on where in the house you were. A lot of the windows on the second floor couldn’t open or were hard to close. As was almost every door into and out of the house. The stove had tripped before we got there so was a bit of searching for db boards and phone calls before we could cook supper. Upstairs has a very musty smell after a recent flooding incident so we had to air it as much as we could during the day.

Very nice house, neat and clean. Didn't get out much because of the weather, but we had everything we needed at the house.

Unfortunately the weather was bad and a window was loose, making a bit of noise.
