There was no problems everything was availible in the accommodation

In April, we booked the 4-sleeper unit, while our friends separately booked the rest of the property for 8 people, paying in full. This was planned as a single group booking for 12 people spending Christmas together. In mid-October, we were informed that there had been a double booking and that both our reservation were cancelled. This cancellation was entirely beyond our control and occurred very late in the year, making alternative arrangements extremely difficult. Eventually, our group was split between different properties, including 28 Malmok. This created major inconvenience, as there was insufficient outdoor space for all 12 of us to spend Christmas Day together, which was the primary purpose of the booking. Being separated significantly impacted our holiday experience. In addition to this, we experienced several issues at the alternative accommodation: A double duvet provided on a king-size bed No casserole dish available No braai tongs, despite the property being advertised as suitable for braai use The window in the bathroom is a normal window with a lace kind of blind and you could see through it. No privacy. We had to use a sheet to cover the window so that people walking to other units can't see you while using the bathroom. Given the double booking, forced separation of our group, and lack of basic amenities, we feel the service provided fell well below acceptable standards—especially for a Christmas booking planned and paid for well in advance. When I requested proof that the people who "double booked" booked and paid before us I was only told they booked for a longer period than us and that they paid more than us. I believe that they just decided to cancel our booking as they could make more money on the other booking. This is a big concern as you plan, book and pay well in advance but you dont have any guarantee that you will get what you've booked.
