New Station Cottage, country views, great location

Lovely house, great views, very clean and well equipped. Very friendly and helpful host. Perfectly situated for walks and coastal visits.

Hard beds. Cold when we arrived, house took a couple of days to warm up.( early March)

Really well equipped, cosy cottage with great views. Lovely touch with welcome food basket and tasteful Christmas decorations. Sally was a great host. It was a perfect setting to see in the new year with friends. We had a delicious meal at the Triton pub on New Year’s Day. Sadly Sledmere grounds and cafe closed for its annual holiday. We spent an afternoon in malton - so many places within easy reach but we ran out of time as the snow crept in!

Parking is hard with than one car but is mentioned on details. Although there were logs in shed (extra charges as stated) there was no starter pack, firelighters or kindling for wood burner

Property was immaculate, really cosy and in a great location. Everything needed is in the property. Host available to contact if needed. Will defo be visiting again. Local pub is a must, lovely food.

Gorgeous, spacious yet cosy cottage. Fabulous host. Short walk to lovely village inn serving great food.

There was nothing we didn’t like but imagine the parking would have been quite snug had there been guests at the neighbouring property.
