Walnut Tree Lodge

Lots of thoughtful touches at this very comfortable and clean accommodation. A welcome hamper and several other very helpful food and drink items were waiting for us. As were scented candles, fresh flowers, blankets/throws. Superbly equipped kitchen area, secluded garden area with field and sunset views. French doors from lounge area and bedroom lead onto decking area and allows a great view to the outside. Bbq and lanterns available for warm evenings. A very welcoming pub with food is a few steps away. Accommodation location is great for a relaxing stay within easy reach of the coastal towns and the city of Norwich.

The lodge had everything that you could possibly need and the welcome basket if goods was well over and above what you would expect. Even the bed was comfortable.

Liz left an array of breakfast and complimentary food/wine for me to use. Thanks. I like the decor and small touches. The accommodation is perfect for one or two people. Good to be able to cook as well when I wanted. Great to have The Banningham Crown pub a short walk away for good food and cosy atmosphere.

TV channels limited.

Quiet private location, very peaceful. Friendly welcome. Cosy accommodation, and thoughtful, helpful provision of groceries and treats - best we've experienced!

bed small double, could be upgraded to a king size, and dining chairs uncomfortable

The accommodation was amazing everything you need was there, even an umbrella. Despite it being self catering everything we needed for breakfast was provided what a surprise. Fantastic!

We prefer a larger and softer bed, but understand that is not to everyones taste
