Great location in a pretty village.

Only the steep steps/ladder up to the 2nd floor but we were aware before we went.

The layout of the property makes it very cosy . It was clean and the bedding and towels were nice. It is in an attractive location and the host was very welcoming and friendly. The fresh flowers was a nice touch.

Lovely quiet location, perfect place for walks, nice pub 100yards away. Beaches a short drive away. Harbour in the village seen from the front garden. All the people we met in the area were all very nice. The open area within the property is well decorated, comfortable and has everything you would need for a short stay. There is a small store a 5/10 minute drive away which has most things you may have forgotten. So in all a very beautiful accommodation… BUT!!

If you consider this property and have small children do not take them there! I had read about the steep stairs on a couple of other reviews and thought old properties have steep stairs… NO! These steep stairs that lead to second twin bedroom are a glorified ladder, steeper than step ladders (although they do have hand rails) you have to walk back down them backwards. On arrival to the property, before I had opened any bags there is a disclaimer on the side (with pen) that I had to sign about possible problems/accidents relating directly to the stairs. Having said all this we took our 12 year old son so had absolutely no problems with these stairs. But I am writing this detailed account because had I turned up to this property with two under 5’s I may have been unable to stay there.
