"A great property with lots of potential but needs a bit spending on it and some updating."

8.0

Spacious, well appointed. Very kind to offer tea/coffee etc. towels all clean and plenty of them. Close to town and walking distance to everything. Bathroom is huge. Easy to work heating and water.

Noisy street above a pub - doesn’t help that front windows don’t fully close. They could do with replacing. Gaps leave drafts. Lots of bits need repair - door handle falls off in lounge, lamp shades not screwed on, the valves and pipe work around bath are loose in the wall, bedroom light is really dim (previous post said this would be replaced). Bedding could also do with updating as old and lumpy.

Spacious rooms good facilities

Bedding was not pleasant to sleep on, didn’t smell fresh and pillows had stains and no protectors on also not comfy as too hard. Toaster did not work. Lighting poor in lower bedroom.

"Cosy comfortable & excellent location for very relaxing stay in beautiful Windsor"

8.0

The property was very spacious and spread out on 4 floors - easy to find and an easy walk to the centre of Windsor with all the shops and Castle a short walk away. There were loads of places to eat out just metres from the front door and we were spoilt for choice. We were also delighted to have a fabulous Thai massage place next door and we had the best massages which was perfect for a girlie weekend away. There is also a nail bar and hairdressers all next to each other if you are coming for a spa weekend away! Local mini markets are a few steps away and the friendly pub next door making this a top cosy comfortable place to stay.

Parking was an issue - it is residents parking only everywhere & I was under the impression I could get a parking pass from the property, but only one was available when I needed 2 for 2 nights, but I managed to book a driveway on Just Park instead about 15 mins walk away, so think I the options and prices could be made clearer. (There was a lack of wine glasses, loo roll and no milk, or biscuits or salt that was in the welcome notes.) But we would definitely stay again as these are minor points.

Great location on the main Street just a 10 min walk from Windsor Castle. Lots of facilities, shops etc very close. Well laid out will all you need for a stay.

Reasonably clean but clearly no one has been cleaning higher surfaces for a long time. Lots of dust on pictures and units and cooker hood very sticky. No lights in the bathroom was fixed very quickly the following day. We loved the place but give it a good scrub !!!
