Windsor Town Centre Victorian townhouse sleeps 6

Very convenient for Windsor centre and Castle. Clean and well stocked. Beds were comfy Home from home.

close enough to town centre & coffee van next doors was refreshing

The standard of housekeeping and maintenance was a let down, the top floor bed quilt was pungent of urine so we took it aside and washed the cover ourselves, asked the owner to bring us another quilt, owner said " yes " so we thought this is about to get resolved and went to get on with our day. However instead of bringing another quilt the housekeeping simply placed the same quilt into another duvet cover, needless to say we where not going to use the pee'd in quilt, just slept without it. having placed our belongings into cupboards we found someone else's bag of toiletries left behind. Venetian blinds in the bathroom covered in dust, top of the bathroom unit covered in a thick layer of dust ( cant be a height issue as someone managed to place a couple of trinkets on it instead of wiping it clean ) Maintenance wise kettle well overdue replacement ( full of limescale ), kitchen extractor didn't work and the chimney stack was letting rainwater in.

Location. Well equipped. Spacious.

The location was very good.

Could have been cleaner and only half a roll of toilet paper left for 6 people for 3 nights. Open ice cream left in freezer and last guest ? left clothes in wardrobe

Lovely and clean apartment with everything needed for a short break…great location for town and the long walk just a 10 minute stroll away.

The pub next door is quite noisy on a Friday & Saturday night and can be heard clearly during to the original single glazed windows, so I’d recommend taking ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. The bathroom promised to be excellent but ultimately the shower had pretty low pressure and the hot water wasn’t really hot enough for a bath, so slightly disappointing but not enough to ruin the trip.
