GBThe Barn is in the most tranquil setting and was wonderful to start and end each day there. Rustic charm with lots of quirky details made a relaxing home from home with everything you would need. Lovely welcome from owner with lots of knowledge of the area. Was a great base for our visits to Chester, Ironbridge and across Snowdonia national park to Portmeirion but also the very pretty nearby towns and villages. Pool was a bonus on a hot sunny day. We did not want to leave.

GBThe barn was cosy and the facilities were fine for what we needed. John the host was welcoming and knowledgeable about where to eat and visit, and the tractor ride and feeding the chickens were the favourite part of the holiday! The scenery and grounds were stunning and so peaceful. The addition of the swimming pool was great for our 6 year old!

GBCouple and a 3 year old. Great location, lovely place. Tons of land to explore and relax in. Price was great value so if it's available you should grab it! Stayed in the barn, which is very rustic and natural. You can feed the chickens next door by hand which our kid loved. Big mazey area of land with a path and benches so great for kids exploring. Will definitely be back.
Only negative was the downstairs room can hear every toss and turn from upstairs. Wouldn't bother a heavy sleeper like me though

GBLovely location and the grounds were perfect for our family of four's hide 'n' seek games! A real effort has been made here for you to enjoy the outdoors with firepit, outdoor swimming pool and BBQ.
The barn could do with a deep clean, including all surfaces, rugs and oven. The double bed seriously creaks and could do with new pillows to influence a better sleep for guests. If this was actioned, the score would easily get to 9 out of 10.
