Location was excellent close to downtown Kirkwall but on the outskirts of town, quiet, with safe parking, and easy access to the many amazing sights of Orkney. The house was very well appointed throughout with everything that one could possibly need.

There was absolutely nothing to complain about, thank you!

The cottage had been very thoughtfully kitted out for visitors and had everything we needed. It was immaculate and very comfortable

It was a bit of a walk into the centre of Kirkwall for a visitor without a car

The house is well-equipped, very clean, and on a quiet street. The pint of milk, cheese, and oat cakes were appreciated. Although on the very edge of Kirkwall -- and an easy walk to Scapa beach -- it is a very pleasant ten to fifteen minute walk to St Magnus Cathedral, the Orkney Museum, and Judith Glue's excellent cafe and shop, all highly recommended. Buses to Stromness, the Ring of Brodgar, Skara Brae, the Italian chapel etc. were easily accessible a few minutes away.

No obvious issues with the house etc., but come prepared for changeable weather and midges.

The location is great. Walking distance to the center of Kirkwall. Approximately 14-15 minutes. It is really worth the money.

I have visited Kirkwall three times and this appartment is the best I have rented.
