Beautiful cottage kept traditional

I never read about the stairs they are very steep but can't fault this as this is original and just us not able lol but we loved being right in the town centre.

"Lovely property in Central location"

Lovely, well-kept, traditional property in a central location. The owner was friendly and communicative, providing all the information regarding how to enter the property beforehand.

The property is on three levels, I did find the stairs to be very steep.

Perfect location, stayed at Millgate cottage before & hopefully stay again in the future, such a quaint cottage, beautiful, clean & a super owner (Neil), highly recommend it. Tapas at no.29 gin bar was yummy. Everything in Walking distance. lovely weekend away.

"Lovely cottage in the heart of Richmond"

My husband and I spent a couple of nights at Millgate Cottage in early September and can 100% recommend it, perfect for a couple. Before we arrived communication with the host Neil was clear and very helpful. Upon arrival the cottage is really inviting and cozy. Everything we could have needed was provided, we were especially impressed with the kitchen - everything you need to prepare meals. The shower was also really good, having longer hair I always appreciate a shower with great water pressure ! The location of the cottage is fantastic for exploring Richmond and there are lots of useful maps and leaflets provided. The "Town Stroll" walk that we downloaded from Richmond's website is a great way to acquaint you with Richmond. We also enjoyed a visit to Castle Howard and also the Black Sheep Brewery tour at nearby Masham.
