Riverside Cottage in Cairngorms

This cottage is so lovely. It’s cozy, has a lot of space and is really close to all the shops and restaurants.

Amazing cottage! Cozy, beautiful and the hot tub was great! Will defiantly be booking again!

The owner is a very nice, welcoming and warm person.

Big kitchen, great beds, good shower and nice outside space. We also liked the log fire and the central heating!

Only very minor things - log fire was full of ash, and there was no dustpan and brush for a quick tidy up. Also the fire alarm was extremely sensitive and went off every time we made toast.

It had an outdoor space with chairs. A nice dinning table and reasonable kitchen equipment. It was close to ballater where there were restaurants and shops. It was close to Balmoral castle.

The parking is on the road a short walk from the cottage and sometimes it was difficult to get a space. The cottage is eco- friendly and although it has a washing machine it does not have a tumble dryer, there is however a clothes rack for drying clothes.

Location

Cleanliness very poor indeed, not Covid Safe and I dread to think what is microbes are growing inside the cupboards where crockery is stored. Needs a deep clean. Property is not worth the money, paintwork needs re doing inside and out. Not as described!

the cottage was in a perfect location, had everything we needed and was very clean. The hot tub was a real bonus!
