Riverside Cottage in Cairngorms

Very quaint & cute. Located right in the town for easy walking. Host was very responsive to accommodate certain requests. Comfortable mattress. Jacuzzi was a nice addition & fun to fill & set up with wood & fire.

There was a very nice espresso machine but no coffee for guests to enjoy for at least the first morning. I think having some coffee for guest’s first morning is a must.

Exceptional property. The cottage is so lovely - the saddest thing was leaving! The hot tub was an amazing feature. The hoists kept in regularly contact. The location is amazing. Thanks so much and can't wait to stay again.

The cottage was in an absolutely perfect location - the town of Ballater is just beautiful, with plenty of walking and outdoor activities nearby. Definitely worth a visit to Balmoral Castle while you are there! The beds were super comfy and we loved the bird feeder outside the window.

The property was lovely & welcoming. The location was superb, within easy walking distance to restaurants & shops.

The parking availability & location was somewhat confusing. We ended up parking on the next street.

Beautiful cottage with all amenities and hot tub. Wonderful surroundings and central location. Owners very helpful and cut up wood for us for the wood fired hot tub as we found it difficult. Fantastic break.

Cutting up logs for woodburning hot tub - bit to dangerous to cut yourself and found it difficult. Would not have minded buying them from owners. Hot tub wonderful though once it got going. Single beds were more for children/teenagers than adults but main king sized bed luxurious. Location and cottage awesome and definitely worthy of visiting. Great area and lots of walks, coffee shops, boutiques and awesome scenery. Owners top notch and very helpful. Five stars.
