Excellent cosy cottage with comfy beds. Perfect for me and my son

The cottage backs onto the White Hart pub, so until closing time you can hear the pub-goers in the beer garden. Not a major problem, but worth being aware of.

We live an old cottage , so are used to steep steps . The steps in the cottage are especially steep and twisting . Some people may find them difficult . The host does tell you this though .

Extra charges. The rooms are not ‘light and airy with good views’ but small with view of dustbins and car or of noisy pub at the back

Super location. I liked the cottage , stairs were v steep, kitchen was well stocked. Bathroom toiletries were not our taste. I couldn’t see a blanket for the bed or sofa. The walls were not altogether clean .
