Very clean, well furnished, charming, well stocked and had all thoughtful homely touches. Wood burning fireplace stove, TV with DVDs/streaming and WiFi great! Kitchen is large and there was one full size fridge-freezer and one small fridge. It had everything needed to cook meals and dishwasher made washing up a breeze. Master bedroom was large and spacious with comfortable good sized bed. Second bedroom was comfortable too. Bathroom and large tub with shower was great! Pet friendly was a plus!!

Stairs to go up to bedrooms were very narrow, small step footings and very steep. Even though the stairs were carpeted, our dog had to sleep downstairs as she couldn’t manage to go up or down the stairs. People with mobility issues may not have an easy time getting up/down as well.

The location was close to many places we wanted to visit. The facilities at the cottage were very good.

The property was so pretty, clean & comfortable, it’s in a great location, making it easy to explore the forest & had everything you needed for a lovely, relaxing break….

There’s nothing not to like!….

Conveniently situated with good walks on the doorstep, close to a very nice pub. On a bus route into Monmouth and Coleford.

Property was a bit ‘tired’, with the rotten ( dirty plastic) conservatory roof held up with a support, garden needs a tidy. Although it wasn’t a problem for us, people should be aware that there are steep narrow steps that lead to the bedrooms, close to a busy main road, so light sleepers beware!
