Lavender Country Cottage - Arrowtown Holiday Home

Everything about the house was wonderful. Comfortable, heating, beds, kitchen, location.

The lock box was difficult to open. I thought I had the wrong code. Took about 15 mins, multiple people trying multiple times.

We thought everything was fantastic except the main room bed. This was very soft, and hence a little disappointing.

Great location. 5 minute walk into Arrowtown village. House was very clean and comfortable, Well stocked kitchen.

The location was awesome - walking distance to Arrowtown and cafes. The kitchen was very well set up, bedding was really great except the sleep out, the person who slept their said the bed was really hard. There was lots of space inside and outside. We had a few people come over for lunch one day and we could all sit outside. Instructions for how to sort the rubbish was clear, there was also access to Netflix. It was also great having 3 bathrooms.

I did arrive early and phoned Bachcare 0800 to see if I could get in to put some meat I had brought in the fridge, but they never phoned me back. When I was cooking steak for lunch the gas ran out. I emailed Booking.com and they replied really quickly and told us how to swap the gas bottles over. Unfortunately both gas bottles were empty so I couldn't cook the meat or put the gas fire on (it is winter). When I emailed again on the Sunday morning, Booking.com came back really quickly after contacting the owner and had organised the delivery of 2 full gas bottles. It was really disappointing this had not been checked before we arrived.
