Great location - handy for shop and restaurants / bars and beach

FANTASTIC LOCATION.COMFY BEDS.

Central location within easy walking distance to restaurants, cafe, beach, shop. Property is very well equipped with everything you need. There is a small private patio area, which is safe for children playing.

Lack of space to hang clothes. The only pegs are on back of bedroom doors, whilst ample hall space there are no pegs for hanging outdoor coats. There is dedicated parking for one car in the lane approaching the property, however unfortunately we got completely blocked in by two other cars, parking along side us one day and we could not get the use of our car, which was very disappointing.

Location is excellent. Cottage facilities also great.

There was no information folder about appliances, the area etc. it would have been useful.

A really well equipped, clean, warm cottage in the centre of Findhorn. Brilliant location for the beach!

Lovely property with a full size kitchen, two bathrooms, good sized rooms, in a quiet area close to the beach and pubs. Very close to the beach which was great.

The hot water was not on for the en-suite bathroom to shower in, however this wasn't a problem as we just used the other shower which did have hot water.

Nice and homely - very warm. Fantastic location in village and also had its own parking space.

The location is excellent. There is off-road parking provided it’s not too wet and you can drive on grass. The property is comfortable, especially the beds. It’s warm. The kitchen is spacious. There is a large book collection on the 2nd floor of the property.

The directions to the property were not acceptable and so I’ve provided feedback separately to the owners. You shouldn’t need to be guided to the door to find it. There is no visitor book in the property giving any instructions or guidance on what to do in the area. Fortunately, we know the area well and we worked out the appliances ourselves. We didn’t find the heating control until later in the week but fortunately we didn’t need it. There are no family board games, children’s games or activities and nothing to do apart from read or watch TV. Fortunately, the weather was kind to us. It’s not a property that is suitable for small children in my view: too many ornaments and furnishings. I would have liked access to recycling facilities with the property and instructions in this regard, as we’ve expected from our other stays in Findhorn at another cottage. I took my recycling to a local car park.
