Really beautiful house with everything we needed for a luxury comfortable stay. wonderful location only 10 minute drive into Ashbourne for a lovely evening of dinner and drinks.

gorgeous property, perfect bolthole for a countryside weekend. hosts were exceptionally welcoming and helpful and we will definitely be returning!

The location was ideal for Alton Towers and close to a wee town for food shopping. The property was beautiful and perfectly presented and clean with everything you could need for cooking a proper home from home.

No complaints.

Large living space and bedrooms. Clean and good appliances, cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge. Nicely located, quiet, with a small town nearby for essentials, restaurants etc. Note: a refundable deposit for damages needed to be paid prior to arrival. First time we've needed to do this. But it was refunded promptly.

With an ethical vegan in the group it was disappointing there was no, or at least clear, information about this being a working animal farm (although we heard no noise). This information must be available on Booking.com. Luckily not a radical ethical vegan. On the last night before leaving the bathroom sprang a leak in the middle of the night. Apparently this has happened before. Also lucky I had a screwdriver with me to be able to turn the water off. A permanent fix is clearly required.
