La Fonte Di Ortigia

Very clean, great location in central Ortigia with restaurants and shops and grocery store just steps away. Host was wonderful and communicated regularly, even with a last minute booking, Diego was very accommodating and helpful with information. Consistent hot water. House slippers and bottle of water provided. I was in a studio apartment great for a couple or solo travelers that also had a balcony and clothes line with a washer available. Breakfast at Cafe Archimedes by the fountain was also a wonderful treat and a great way to start the morning.

The breakfast was via coupons from a local cafe in Piazza Archimedes. Short walk and great view across the piazza, better than in the room.

The overall experience was excellent. Diego is an extraordinary host. The house is the centre of Ortigia. The breakfast was in a café in front of the fountain. The boat trip was really great. And the support for the free car parking was very welcome.

I would suggest a better mattress.

The location is perfect, in the heart of Ortigia land and all the beautiful places are very close. The owner was very kind and helpful. He has blocked the free parking slot for us by his car upon our arrival and then we have parked our car there for free. The room is also very good and well equipped. By one word it was perfect.
