Hard to say

Our host Diego was extremely kind. He informed us about Ortigia & Siracusa very well. He even reserved a parking space for our car. The check in and check out was very smooth. The location was superb. We will definitely come back again to Ortigia and stay at Diego's place.

Nothing I could tell that we don't like as a family.

The host and his father did a lot to accommodate my wife and I. He showed us where to park, and gave us a ride to the apartment. This made a big difference for my wife, who is partially disabled. The host also went above and beyond in communicating with me. The location was ideal -- right in the middle of the action, but quiet in the evening.

The lighting could use some work, it's a bit dim for having not much natural light. The water pressure in the shower was very weak. We had a hard time getting the espresso machine to work.

First, the host's father actually picked us up from the bus station. This was beyond anyone's expectations. Second, he took us into the property to show us what we needed to answer our questions. Other B&B's are sometimes complicated to access. Diego's father showed us what we needed to know. Also, Diego sent us information on many sites in town and beyond. He was always just a quick text away to help us. Way worth the money just for his kindnesses alone. The property was perfectly located. It was not exceptional but quite nice and very complete. We would recommend this to anyone. Daniel

Although the balcony was small, all others in the area were as well. There is nothing that could be done to change this. It is the architecture of the area. Still, it was quaint and beautiful.

Sa situation

The location was central in the main old historical island. Parking was nearby about 5-8 minute walk. The host was great and helped us navigate everything,

Everything was great. Just be careful as it is in a ZTL zone for loading and unloading luggage if you have a lot. Coordinate with the host to make sure you access it when ZTL is not active.

Diego was really nice and accommodating. Met us on arrival and showed us the apartment, which was fabulously located. Easy to walk everywhere. Diego told us where to park, which is very helpful. The apartment had everything we needed. Breakfast is at a cafe close by... with a choice of what you want to eat. Located on lovely square with a fountain view. Will definitely stay at Diego's again.

There wasn't anything I can think of that we didn't like.

Diego was so helpful. Before we arrived, he sent us instructions and videos of where to park and how to get to the apartment. He arranged a boat tour and recommended places to eat. The apartment is close to everything in the old town. Breakfast was at a lovely cafe overlooking a fountain nearby. We loved staying here and highly recommend it.
