Organization, communication, kindness, very nice and central position. Despite being central it’s very silent. Clean property!

I loved everything about this stay, most notably was the hospitality of the host and his family as well as the vibes of staying in a historic building at the heart of Ortigia Island. The host Diego did everything possible to welcome us and make our stay as comfortable as possible. His dad met us at the train station and drove us to the flat and showed us around. The flat itself has everything one needs and the location is fantastic as have been able to walk everywhere from it. We ate out some days but also prepared our own dinner on others buying fresh ingredients from the local market nearby. It was only my son and I but the flat can easily fit 5 people. With breakfast included in the price that made it good value for money, especially with two local popular cafes to choose from. Diego, our host also helped us book a cruise with Syracuse Excursion to see the sunset and the Ortigia Island Caves. I have travelled a lot in my life and used booking. Com for my accommodation but this stay in La Fonte Di Ortigia in Sicily has been one of my best stays. I will definitely be back.

Nothing at all. It was perfect. I don’t usually spend a lot of time reviewing properties on booking.com but in this instance I have felt the need to do so as this has exceeded my expectation.

Everything was perfect, the apartment was very clean, well situated, and Diego was charming. The breakfast at a nearby restaurant was very good as well.

The property should be one of the best kept secret in Ortigia/Siracusa, one of the best location in my opinion, we wish that we could stay longer. The apartment we stayed has everything we would like to have, the space, the facilities, cleanness, comfortableness (the bedroom is on the side street so the street noise is minimum); the breakfast is offered in two bakery restaurants with carefully selected locations and good quality, enable to enjoy the views of the bridge or the fountain while having the breakfast. We were most impressed with our host Diego, who did best he could to make our stay convenient/comfortable, receiving/guiding us from our arrival and led us to the apartment, found a space for our car parking, answer every question we have on time with WhatsApp.

Great location, perfect apartment for what we needed in Ortigia. Diego was so helpful and welcoming and happy to assist but not intrusive.

Nothing to complain about

The apartment is in a perfect spot. Literally in the old town but not in the noisy part.Diego is the perfect host -super responsible to his guests giving the most helpful information.The apartment is well equiped with cooking items and toiletries as well.

Diego was extremely helpful and kind, parking was nearby about an 8-minute walk, and the location couldn't be any better. Thank you!

The breakfast at a nearby cafe bar was great! You can select a different one everyday.

There could have been a local TV channel for news Some fixtures need improvement like the kitchen faucet and bidet.
