We have just had the most comfortable and relaxing holiday. The cottage is very welcoming and is in the heart of beautiful Whalley. Everyone we met here was very friendly and we really have had a wonderful time. I would just like to give a special mention to Holdens the Cafe, where we went for breakfast every morning. Also, there is a beautiful florist across the road, and they made two beautiful bouquets for me. The cottage has everything you may need for a short or longer stay. Personally, we would very comfortable staying here for a few weeks, because it really is a home from home. You can stay in Whalley, as it will have everything you need, but the cottage is also a wonderful base to explore the stunning Rbble Valley, Lancashire, Yorkshire, and even the Lake District . Communications with the owner were excellent, and this is definitely a 10/10 cottage in an amazing place, we highly recommend it to anyone.

We loved everything. Whalley is a very busy village, so we sometimes found it difficult to park near the cottage and car parking at the local Co-Op is limited to 2 hours only. This was not really a problem for us, as we were able to move to a car parking space outside the cottage in the evening, if required. I only mention it, if it is important to you to park directly outside the property.

"Not bad, great location, shame about the parking"

7.0

Ideally located in the centre of town. Furniture is nice and comms were good - very easy to get code for key box etc

Parking was a nightmare, had to park all the way up the hill, as you are on the main road and the parking is restricted there is limited space. Beds in the twin room were so uncomfortable. Had to wash up quite a few items of crockery/caffetiere etc on arrival as they were dirty/greasy. Would have been nice to have had some information about bins and recycling whilst we were there. wifi was very slow or non existent once you were away from the router

"Lovely property in a beautiful location"

7.0

Very clean and comfortable. Had all we needed. Bigger than expected. Brilliant location for town and shops.

Impossible to park next to property, spaces always occupied. Other streets were also very busy to find a spot. Had to walk quite a way. Annoying to have to turn thermostat on and off manually. Was always too cold in morning.

"Nab Cottage Whalley"

8.0

Excellently furnished and well decorated. Comfortable

No information on how to work the hob.No channels on TV and no info. how to work the TV. Are the fires not to be used? Could do with a few more kitchen utensils. Not suitable for elderly as stairs very steep and steps very narrow. Information on how to work a dishwasher but no dishwasher there. My friend broke her necklace in twin bedroom and when she got home realised a charm was missing. If it is fou d please contact me.

"Great property in a lovely village."

9.0

Very cosy and comfortable. Cottage is well presented and clear communication from the host. Had everything we needed for the duration of the stay including tea/coffee etc.

Parking was the only issue we had. It's busy village with limited parking so we had to park a couple of mins walk away. Not a big deal but a pain when I had to bring the dog crate.
