Nab View Cottage

Really great location in the centre of the village, close to shops and restaurants as well as lovely walks straight from your door. Clean and comfy house, good selection of crockery and kitchen equipment not that we did any cooking. Reasonable size double room and big twin room, good size bathroom with a decent shower over the bath, love a bath! Plenty of hot water. Lots of storage if you were there for a week you could unpack and have plenty of room. Nice touches on arrival like tea, coffee, milk and biscuits as well as a few games and decent tv. Good communication with the host.

Lots of air fresheners which were very over powering, but easily solved we just put them outside. We couldn't open the upstairs windows, don't know if they just needed a firmer hand but as it wasn't hot we didn't worry. Would really have liked thicker curtains or blinds in the front bedroom as a street light just outside made the room very light.

The location was perfect for us as we were visiting some of my partners family in Whalley and it was walking distance from everything we needed. The house was lovely and clean, perfect for the 4 of us. Kitchen was well equipped. Check in was very easy as communication was great. We would definitely stay here again upon our next visit.

The cottage was lovely, really well appointed, roomy and warm. the location was perfect for us as we were visiting friends in the village, with lovely views and walking distance to the village with lots of shops and eateries.

it would have been nice to be able to use the log burner which is pictured but there was no logs or way to use it. we would have also wanted to use the washing machine which was locked so that was a shame, but other than that everything was perfect.

The location of the cottage was superb gor walking the dog and leaving the car Lots of places to eat and all amenities on the doorstep

Our stay at the cottage was very comfortable - could not have been better! Well furnished to a high standard and fully equipped- we felt very much at home there. Beds and towels changed and a clean half way through our stay was a welcome touch. Local amenities all close by and great transport links make Whalley a good base for exploring the beautiful Ribble Valley area. Highly recommended.
