La Tavernetta

Ruhige Lage am Stadtrand, mit Natur. Eigene Terrasse mit Sitzmöglichkeit. Pkw-Stellplatz überdacht & im geschützten Grundstück. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, die im selben Haus wohnen, jederzeit erreichbar sind und Tipps für Ausflüge, Geschäfte & Gastronomie geben. Zwei zutrauliche Hunde, die sich über Streicheleinheiten freuen. Ausstattung der Küche mit Kaffee-Automat inkl. reichlich Kaffeebohnen sowie einige Zutaten für Frühstück/Imbiss wie z.B. Milch, Butter, Öl, Essig, Salz, Zucker sowie Obstkorb, Muffins, Kekse, Marmelade. Spülmaschine und Spülmittel vorhanden, ebenso wie Waschmaschine und Waschmittel. Zusätzlich ein Gäste-WC. Insgesamt ein super Aufenhalt mit gastfreundlichem Service, den wir sehr schätzten und unseres Erachtens nicht selbstverständlich ist!

Eine Mikrowelle wäre noch praktisch gewesen, aber der kleine Backofen und der Gasherd reichten uns auch.

I would rarely use the expression exceptional - but La Tavernetta genuinely is. It is very spacious, comfortable, beautifully presented and immaculately maintained inside and out. If you are self catering everything you need is there including an outdoor barbecue and seating area with lovely views. The hosts are really lovely friendly people who will ensure you enjoy your stay. We have stayed in many hotels and B&Bs all over the world - this was one of the very best.

La Tavernetta ist ein perfekter Ausgangsort zum Wandern und für Besichtigungen. Wir wurden von Tina und Nicolo herzlich empfangen. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist umfangreich und hochwertig und alles ist gepflegt und blitzsauber. Die Räume sind großzügig. Im März war es überraschend kühl und die Wohnung gut geheizt. Mehrere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe. In die Innenstadt läuft man 15 Minuten.

Zeer vriendelijke hosts, en een prima appartement. Prima bedden voor onze lengte (1.75 meter), warme krachtige douche, 2 toiletten, eigen parkeerplaats, heel schoon, van bijna alle gemakken voorzien (inclusief drankjes, prima (gevuld) koffieapparaat, en wat etenswaar). Kleine verbetering zou kunnen zijn het toevoegen van een magnetron.

The apartment is in a quiet rural area just outside Randazzo. Easy walk to the town. Grocery store nearby. The apartment was spacious and spotless. The outdoor patio was beautiful and relaxing. The owners and hosts live upstairs. It is a large two-story house with covered parking and a gated entrance for security. The owners have a lovely garden and they gave us fresh vegetables and eggs. They have olive trees and homemade olive oil, and cherry trees with ripe cherries that we picked and ate while staying there. They provided complementary water, juice, and beer in the refrigerator, and snacks, Amaru, and whiskey on the table and sideboards. Very generous! They have several friendly dogs who would stop by in the morning and evening to visit us. We felt like we were part of the family, yet we had as much privacy as we wanted. There is also a washing machine for laundering clothes.

Lovely property - approximately 1 mile from city center, easy walk. Home was very comfortable with all the amenities you would need.

A very spacious and comfortable apartment with a fantastic private outdoor sitting area ( two big tables, one in the shade, sun loungers, bbq) and laundry facilities. The location - on the outskirts of the town - is very quiet and peaceful as the house is surrounded by gardens and groves.. You can see Etna from the garden and the living room. The owners are lovely, hospitable and unobtrusive. This place is very well suited to longer stays.

This was our favourite apartment that we stayed in on our Sicily trip. Just outside the city centre of Randazzo – a lovely town - in a nice setting. The ground floor apartment was very clean and extremely comfortable. Modern in style but with some ‘homey’ pieces as well. Very comfortable beds, a very well stocked kitchen, a washing machine and an outstanding outdoor area made this a great place to stay. The owners were lovely people and were great to communicate with. It’s a great base to explore the Mt Etna area. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

A beautiful appartment with its own garden and view on mount Etna. I would highly recommend to use a car to get to the appartment. Anyhow, the city of Randazzo is in walking distance with some good local restaurants. Most important: The hosts are so friendly and welcoming. Still there is all the privacy required for a relaxed stay.
