Carlisle Central, Cute Studio Appt, The Cupboard

We really enjoyed staying here. The property was very clean, comfortable and well equipped, everything in really good order. It is also a little bit quirky which was good. Comfortable beds and a great shower - fantastic water pressure! It is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from all the places we wanted to be. Close to shops and restaurants (M&S food hall and Tesco Express just round the corner. Although central, it was also quiet. If you find going downstairs difficult, this might not be the place for you but apart from that would recommend.

Potential for some late night noise with pub next door. We stayed on a Monday night and it was peaceful.

The location perfect for me, central , great local pub and view of church grounds. Lots of treats provided. Great tv easy to use.

The very low ceiling in bedroom and steps tricky from bedroom to loo downstairs during the night.

We've stayed in The Cupboard before and loved staying there again. This delightful room looks out on St Curthbert Church, has a pub next door (The Sportman Inn), and is just off the Carlisle Square. There are stairs up to the bedroom loft (which has a sloping ceiling), but the kitchen, bathroom and lounge room are all on the ground floor. This cosy unit comes with a well appointed kitchen, a washing/drying machine, good wifi, plenty of hot water and a large comfortable bed. There's a paid public carpark right next door for 11GBP per day - we parked the car right in front of the kitchen window. We always love staying in The Cupboard.

A very unique place, well thought out in a compact cottage, lots of nice decorative touches, bathroom very functional with good water pressure, kitchen well stocked with lots of utensils. Slept really well as the immediate area is quiet at night. Heads lane car park adjacent to the building.

The bedroom is really small with a low sloping ceiling. I did sleep well as it felt cosy and safe.

Great cozy little flat. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
