Climbing Rose Cottage - Dog Friendly - Peaceful Cotswold Cottage

Everything had been thought of seemed authentic and the little gift was nice

The front door lock needs some attention as does the door it rubs on the frame.

Great cottage in a lovely location, with everything supplied by the hosts for a relaxed break away.

We had an unbelievable time at the Climbing Rose Cottage. What a place! So beautiful... as the Cotswolds. We just loved everything.

Back Lane is a VERY narrow street so some hints on directions to the property would’ve been nice. Also, not the owners fault but, we had 3 nights where the weather was ideal to sit outside and enjoy the little courtyard at night however, the neighbour decided to mulch his garden which ruined 2 nights as the place smelt like a zoo! Not ideal, not the owners fault. Ps. A fan would’ve been handy given upstairs is about 10 degrees hotter than downstairs the weather hit 30 degrees on days 2 and 3 of our stay so sleeping through the 25 degrees at night (ridiculous for England) was very uncomfortable. Despite all this, I would definitely recommend and do it again.

Perfect size for a couple in a pretty, peaceful village.

We liked the fact that cottage was very close to local pub for drinks and food. Unfortunately it had closed on the day we arrived due to new ownership and will not be open for quite sometime.

Just had a lovely relaxing break at this cottage Absolutely beautiful cottage and place , very quiet and peaceful. Everything you need and spotlessly clean. Good communication from the owner . Would definitely stay again

Nothing , we are both not quite as agile as we were and prefer a walk in shower but it wouldn't put us off staying again

Excellent location, convenient parking, very dog-friendly. Clean, good facilities, useful welcome pack, quiet, close to nice pub.
