Climbing Rose Cottage - Dog Friendly - Peaceful Cotswold Cottage

Beautiful, clean, and cosy cottage with a great location and excellent access to visit the Northern Cotswolds. The Horse and Groom Pub is excellent, friendly, and just around the corner.

Very cute little cottage which was perfect for our needs. Really nice quiet little village. The host had added a couple of extra touches like biscuits for both humans and dogs, much appreciated.

Could potentially do with a bigger TV but thats only if I'm being really picky.

Beautiful property inside and out. Cosy and warm and we lit the log fire on a stormy day it was brilliant. Can’t wait to go back.

Nothing all was good

Such a beautiful cottage. Very idyllic and in a good location to get around by car to other villages. Bourton-on-the-water and Moreton-in-Marsh only less than 15 mins away by car. Dog friendly definitely a real pull for us and you wouldn't even know another dog had ever been in there! Very clean and presented so well. Plenty of amenities available to use and spare bathroom essentials if you forget any. Easy to use cooker and pans and oven trays available for use. We cooked twice and didn't have any trouble. Small freezer in fridge for ice cubes! Lovely log burner - don't forget to buy your own logs/bring some with you as enough there for one evening. Excellent communication from Clare and very handy e-book of information before arriving which helped plan our trip a bit more. Very easy to access the cottage with instructions from Clare - we drove past the first time but soon saw the house sign.

Not necessarily didn't like but just a note - If you feel the cold and are staying at the cottage in winter, make sure you bring a few layers. We had plenty with us so it wasn't a problem. The temperatures outside were very cold - no higher than 3 Celsius and snow hung around for days so it was particularly cold when we visited! There are free standing heaters available and of course the log burner which worked very well.

Very clean, exactly as the photos. Great location. We had all the amenities needed plus some very nice extra details. We had a great time and will probably come back.
