there was bad smell coming from the toilets drain...so the whole of the downstairs part had a unpleasant smell.

Brilliant location. Very easy for centre of Valletta, shops/bars closeby, a place to swim 5 mins walk away.

There was a smell from the toilet (which is downstairs from the bedroom, and very small). Also a smell from the shower (which had a blocked drain). A technician was sent during our stay to fix the washing machine (fine but a bit disconcerting). Room is quite dark. €200 deposit required which i had to chase multiple times after departure (and after 5-7 business days advised) before it was released. Also, a long list of prices for potential breakages is not very welcoming.

Just to echo previous comments: not very comfy shower with low water pressure, smell, could be noisy

Wouldn’t be fair to say. It was exactly as described.

The apartment had everything we needed. The bed was large and very comfortable and the location was fantastic - particularly close to the ferry ports to visit the 3 cities. Lots of good mirrors to get ready in and a large shower. Gwen and Mel were helpful and responsive hosts.

The loo is a bit of a squeeze and down some quite steep steps from the bedroom which is a little tricky to navigate at night. There is quite a bit of noise from the road night and the apartment is a little dark but I would expect this from most of the city. You do have to pay an upfront security deposit with a direct transfer.

Very dark and damp apartment, maybe because there are no windows, only a small balcony. I attached the photo of the bedroom in the middle of the day - it’s very dark (too big difference with photo from the owner). And not all lights worked. Also it was really strange, that the shower was on the second floor and the washbasin and toilet were on the first floor - it was very uncomfortable to use them. And the toilet located under the upstairs and had a small space and low ceiling, so if you're even a little tall, you should always bend over to avoid hurting yourself. Also you need to be attentive, because you must to pay a security deposit (200 EUR) two weeks before your arrival and this information you can find only on the desktop version of Booking (on the mobile version - no), so it was a big surprise for me.

The instructions getting to the property and how to use the appliances were excellent.
