The Coach House

Lovely property in a gorgeous area, free parking, 2 mins walk from town, super quiet and tucked away from the main street. I was on a quick trip for business so didn't experience the full property, but the downstairs was gorgeous, super cosy lounge and lovely outdoor space. Maybe a hot tub in that yard would be a great addition. Overall, gorgeous character building in a premium location. Great Comms around check in and parking etc.....fantastic service from the owner / hosts.

Only 'issue' was the cleanliness of the main bedroom. Carpets need replacing, a few woodlice crawling on the bed and floor, behind the bed head was a cobweb and dust nightmare, really off putting if you don't like spiders etc....strangely the rest of the house was immaculate, but the main bedroom really needs a deep clean to bring it up to standard. Don't let it take away from the many positives, but I'm a clean freak and it made me go looking for a local hotel to move to, which I did.

Location was very convenient for town centre. 11am leave time was a bonus.

Decoration looked tired and unloved. Beds were not comfortable.

Good location, with parking close to the center of the town (5 minute walk)

The door lock was faulty which made locking and unlocking the door very difficult, the owners had messaged us via booking.com so we were aware of this before arriving.
