Sett Cottage, Hayfield

Beautiful cottage & situated in a great location. The hamper is a lovely welcome, thank you! The bath tub in the room was an excellent touch, very relaxing.

missing essentials in the kitchen- there were only two tea bags, no sugar or cooking oil.

We love the village of Hayfield and the property is well situated for walking up Snake Path. It had been beautifully furnished and the bath in the master bedroom is lovely!

If you’re tall the stairs are hard without banging your head and they are very steep even if you’re not. More could be made of the outdoor area. Wine is a lovely gift in the welcome basket but milk probably more useful especially given there’s no shop in the village after 8 pm

As advertised it was a small cottage, we would say ideal for two but for four it was a bit of a squeeze.

Location was superb for walking and eating out

Beautiful character cottage in a fantastic location in Hayfield. Great views. Ideally suited to a couple, given the size, but also the fantastic copper bath in the master bedroom! Parking was very easy - with plenty of space to be found on the road opposite the cottage.

We only ate in once during our weekend (the cottage is ideally located to local pubs) but we would have struggled to eat a meal at the table as a group of three. As a couple it is perfect.
