Really well appointed with everything you need for a very comfortable stay.

Nothing we didn’t like! Slightly squeaky floorboards in places, though that didn’t bother us.

Had a great week's stay, renting two nearby cottages for the whole family, including grandchildren. Accommodation was comfy and really clean. Location was perfect for trips in the Borders, Northumberland and only about an hour or so from Edinburgh. A lovely stay and would definitely go back

This isn't a negative, more of a suggestion. Northend had a lot of steps in unexpected places e.g. on entry to one of the bedrooms. Might be an idea to have this in the details in case people have mobility or visual problems

"Lovely stay"

The location. A very well equipped kitchen. Amazing bathroom! excellent shower. Very comfortable beds. The information given before we arrived, plus the detailed information folder and the leaflets about the area, were all really great and appreciated. Thank you for the border biscuits. 😀.

There was nothing to dislike.

"Lovely cottage"

A beautiful little cottage in what felt like the middle of nowhere but was actually the middle of everywhere.

I'd love a wee sign on the back of the toilet door to remind someone like me of the step.

Beautiful solid stone Building. Clean and tidy with all necessary facilities. Wonderful rolltop bath . Amazingly quiet rural location.
