Shippon End - Barn conversion with character and charm

Good location, walking distance to the local pub and the waterfront.

Very basic facilities. Coffee pods that were provided did not fit into the coffee machine. The listing said a hairdryer was provided, but there wasn't one, so we had to go buy one. No soap supplied other than hand soap at the basin.

Overall lovely accommodation superbly located for walks and surrounded by beautiful scenery. Recycling is confusing. As stated in the guest information book there should have been recycling bags to separate waste and were not available.

Clean, quiet. Comfy bed. Secure parking. Well appointed kitchen.

Our stay was in February and the heating boiler was loud when running which you notice more a night. A small thing but noticeable

They box was extremely hard t open

The property condition was a little tired and looks like it would have benefited from a deep clean

Fantastic location. Peaceful, rural, and great parking. Everything worked.

Mattresses were too firm.
