Shippon End - Barn conversion with character and charm

The shower curtain was black with mould. The house smelt.

Good parking, beautiful village, lovely grounds

Dust everywhere, no sharp knives,kitchen bin is third the size needed, air vent in upstairs toilet goes on and on

Needs new boiler very noisy, toilet fans running to long and noisy, shower curtain needs changing and new trim and grout to bath mould issues

Great location, quiet, but within easy reach of Dartmouth.

Bedrooms rather cramped, and difficult to keep warm as the thermostat is on the top floor with no way to adjust the bedroom radiators. The bathroom needs a good clean around the shower area.

Compact but comfortable cottage. Views from the site. Lovely location in the Village. Very peaceful. Might be a bit crowded in the summer holidays but was almost empty in April. Perfect for four adults and two well-behaved dogs.

Single beds were a bit narrow for two elderly adults! Would have been helpful to have something to make coffee in, other than a Nespresso capsule machine - with no capsules. We don't like them anyway as poor coffee and very un-eco! A cafetiere would have been fine. Instructions for the property need amending as heating control is now on the wall outside the airing cupboard (not inside) and some basic advice on how to operate it would have been useful.

Well appointed and thoughtful barn conversion had everything we needed for a relaxing spring break. Highly recommended! 🤩
