"if you love the outdoors you will love this place. Perfect family retreat- "thank-you""

9.0

exceptional location-the views from this property need to be seen to be believed. Perfect get away spot- great for outdoors exploring, although the beach local to the property requires good ankle stability!! Challenging walking over the boulders but great fun and what we expected on the Jurassic coast. Weymouth , Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove are all a short drive away, although had we been staying for a few days we may have walked as the coastal path is well signposted and well used and the added surprise of sleeping in the shepherds hut was wonderful- waking up to sea views -livin' the dream

you could only have cold showers and the hot tub was overflowing and didn't seem to warm up. This wasn't an issue for us-didn't request it to be sorted as only staying one night but we would have requested this to be sorted had we been staying longer.

"Definitely recommend"

The view was amazing! The hot tub was such a great add, made the stay amazing! Host left the heating on so it was nice and toasty when we arrived.

It wasn’t the cleanest but I looked past that as the whole place was a great stay! Apart from that no complaints! Worth the money!

This is a fantastic property in an absolutely stunning location. We are a group of 4 artist friends who get together for a retreat a few times a year to share what we are doing and seek inspiration. This property delivered everything and more besides. It has everything you need for your stay. The place was warm and comfortable (we stayed in January) I slept in the shepherds hut which I thought might be cold but the electric heater kept it lovely and warm. The hot tub was a bonus and I didn't realise it had one when I booked but sitting in it looking at Weymouth sound and the starts at night was off the scale. The would be a fad location for a romantic get away or like us a group of friends looking for something different and some inspiration. We will be coming back!

It's difficult to find anything negative with this property. However the only toilet/bathroom is in the main bedroom so you have to disturb people in there to use the loo. As we all know each other well this wan't a huge problem but it might be for others.

"Lovely view, very strange layout."

Fantastic view, nice lounge area, easy to find, private parking, warm

This isn't a usual 3 bedroom property. Firstly, there are no windows - at all! We always sleep with the window open overnight, but the bedroom led to the lounge/conservatory and it would have meant leaving the conservatory door open to get some air in, so it was stuffy. The bedroom also comes straight off the kitchen but there is no door between the kitchen and the bedroom, so no privacy for the main bedroom and the only bathroom is accessed through the main bedroom, which is ok for a couple, but I wouldn't recommend this property for a group of friends. We weren't told how to get the keys, despite making a written request beforehand. We had to struggle in the cold, wet and wind to finally discover the hiding place. The sheets and mattress were dirty but they changed the sheets on request.
