The Beach House South - Blackpool - Entire Holiday Home

We liked the location, suited our needs, and felt safe and a lovely neighbourhood.

The house was clean on arrival. However, the bins were full, and the garden was messy. The shower leaked into the porch downstairs, which is worrying for the owner. For the money paid, I would recommend the owners update the property as it's a little run down, fittings broken, windows don't close etc.

The location was great, away from the masses. Quirky cool decor. Close to a peaceful beach. Shops nearby. Nice garden. Easy parking. On the whole we had a lovely stay, but there were a few issues, that could be easily remedied.

The house was fabulous on first impression, but the flaws soon became obvious. The spacious kitchen was great, but it was ridiculously hot, almost unbearable, even with the door open and fans on. The two single beds had really uncomfortable mattresses, springs sticking out. The bedding and pillows old and tired. No hand soap in the bathroom or kitchen, no washing up liquid. I always have a quick look under beds when I leave, it was clear the cleaners don't vacuum under them, there were items left form previous visitors. No dusting either.The outside furniture was dirty, the table was covered in bird poo. Previous visitors had mentioned a welcome pack, nothing at all was left apart from a pint of milk. Most of these issues could be dealt with, making the house an absolute delight.

I cannot recommend this holiday home enough.The house was absolutely beautiful everything it said it would be💕💯 we actually stayed an extra night we did want to go home 🏡

Nothing to not like

The area down stairs was great, we were celebrating a 40th birthday so it was just what we were looking for!

The oven and hob stopped working and this was inconvenient. The host was very responsive and came to see if it could be fixed and provided us with a lighter for the hob. The electrics in general were below expectations as the washing machine wasn't working. The rain was very heavy and the conservatory leaked. There was a lot of electrical equipment in the conservatory/living area which we were worried about at various points because of the leaks!

Location is fabulous, very quiet neighbourhood within easy reach of transport. The house is large and the open plan living is a bonus. Lovely enclosed garden. Great that the bathroom and toilet are separate too.

Beds not very comfy and large old cobwebs hanging from ceilings.

Nice place, good facilities, comfortable.
