The Beach House South - Blackpool - Entire Holiday Home

Good location near the pleasure beach in a quiet lovely residential area. Really loved the large downstairs living space with its good kitchen facilities. Nice touch providing milk and bread etc but wished we'd known beforehand as bought our own with us. Quirky decor!

My elderly mum struggled a little getting upstairs as there was no hardrailbut that was our only minor problem. We couldn't work out how to operate the oven so some guidance in the manual would be good

not much to like to be honest

where do I start with this.. well put it this was the photos on the profile DO NOT match the house, the pictures were taken when they must have just got it and from then must have done no cleaning what so ever, the house is full of huge cobwebs and just filth, outside there was still dog poo on the gravel, everywhere we touched in the kitchen felt greasy, there were dirty hand marks and just grime everywhere, in the bedrooms very spooky pictures, the decoration just didn’t flow at all, we had to clean this house when arriving as it just was so so smelly and smelt musty, in the bedroom with single beds one of the quilt covers were all sticky so absolutely didn’t get changed, all in all was just a terrible stay, it was really lovely weather in Blackpool and the kitchen seating area was like a sauna, no joke and with only 2 fans it was unbearable to sit in, the garden cushions were all dirty and mouldy so again couldn’t sit on them, and the biggest worry is round holes in the floor that are just covered up by plant pots and the bathtub is about to fall through the porch ceiling at any point, there is a massive crack and the ceiling looks like it’s going to give way at any point and leaking with water from having a shower, we hated it here and hated the fact of we just couldn’t relax and enjoy our well deserved holiday we had to keep cleaning cobwebs away and basically not being able to use all the facilities that we paid for, oh and this is not beach front at all so false advertising, it’s at least a 15 min walk to the beach! contacted booking.com who contacted the owner and didn’t care that we was dissatisfied with our stay, terrible terrible service!!

Location was brilliant for pleasure beach, just a few minutes walk. Nice touches with bread and milk and use ofall,facilities. Property was in a quiet location. P, Lenny of space and great outdoor area.

Excellent house. Clean, tidy, lovely place. Very quiet. Backyard is a suntrap ☀️

Was a bit out of the way. But we'll worth it. Only one toilet, pity there wasn't a downstairs loo 🚻

Absolutely adore the retro and nostalgic vibe of this entire house! From the old tape machines to the upright piano and the groovy furniture, it's an amazing property. Plus some of the original features around the property give it that extra bit of sparkle to an already amazing stay

We had the best 3 days here! Kids absolutely loved it. So close to the pleasure Beach and love the kitchen area and garden

TV sizes in the bedrooms could be upgraded but other than that we loved it.

The house was very spacious and comfortable. We were very greatful for the little extra left for us 😊. Tvs in every room, netflix and dvds were great too.

The decor in the master bedroom wasn't to our taste. But it was comfortable and would happily stay here again.
