Beautiful! Very new & luxurious. Lovely big sitting room & loads of space in the kitchen area. All mod cons but in a very stylish & laid back environment. And Michelle is the perfect host - thank you for taking so much care of us

"Relaxing, welcoming, wholesome stay"

My family and I loved our stay at Patty's Barn! We got a last minute deal and stayed in the Oyster Catcher, which was super comfy and had everything we needed. It was also a ground floor cottage and close to the car park, which made it really accessible for my Dad who has Parkinson's. Michelle, the owner, was so friendly and helpful, as were her animals that live on site! We loved the amazing views, wildlife and peacefulness of the site- the view is always changing as the tide goes in and out over the salt marshes throughout the day. We were also able to go to the Land + Sea communal meal, which Michelle and her family also run, and that was definitely a real highlight of our trip. The location is super, very close to the M6, which made it easy to visit a range of places during our stay like Morecambe, Garstang and Windermere.

Everything was great! Would highly recommend. Only suggestion we had was making the walking route around the site a bit easier to follow with permanent signs/ maps to guide you on the route, so people don't end up in the air field of the parachute centre next door like we did! Oops.

It is a pretty remote location on beautiful green fields.

I think as the property offer many options it is not difficult to get confused on what you finally get. Did get a cabin for 4 people which definitively were unsuitable for 4. Shower was in a different room approx 50 yards from the cabins.

Peaceful tranquil location, even if it is a working farm. Good sized very well equipped, modern, clean, spacious accommodation in converted barn. Michelle & Margaret are extremely helpful & accommodating to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They also have very extensive local knowledge of the area which they are eager to share. Close proximity of various hiking & cycling routes along the canal & in the Forest of Bowland.
