Garden Suburbs Cottage

The bath was lush my house doesn't have a bath only a shower so having that huge bath was nice. The fire was cosy. I loved the big 5 burner gas cooker. The location was perfect for us as we needed to move out of our house down the road for building works. The garden bench swing was so pleasant to sit on in the sunshine.

The pots and pans were all scratched non stick and not safe to use. I'd recommend the owner buy some cheap stainless steel pots and pans as careless tenants can't ruin them as easily. Not really their fault. Some grill pans were dirty in the oven when we arrived. I brought my own cookware so this was not a major problem but would've been otherwise. Still lovely place this is a minor issue that can be easily resolved very happy with my stay.

Lovely little place, the hosts left us some small snacks which was much appreciated!

The cottage was wonderfully decorated. Wonderful wood burning stove! Reasonably comfortable beds and a very nice quiet neighbourhood. Bathroom was great spec and the kitchen had everything you would need.

Some water leaking due to heavy rains. Other than this the property was pretty great!

The location, the views, facilities, WiFi, price. Lovely place to stay. Would definitely come back.

Having to strip the beds and drag the bedding downstairs at the end of the stay. The house is a little tired in places.

Would have liked some curtains in the living room not just the net curtains. And maybe a full length mirror in one of the rooms upstairs.

If you are unsteady at all the shower was difficult to get into. The stairs were very steep, they only had one handrail that went halfway up. This could be quite precarious and potentially dangerous for children. The whole cottage could have been cleaned better and updated. Lots of damp patches.

Quaint almost rustic feel but with all the modern frills. Excellent views, very clean, host very easy to work with. If you are a traveler this is exactly the sort of place you want to stay. Get a taste of what it would feel like living in Wales

Excellent location. Close to railway. Perfect for Graduation Day in Cardiff. Very cosy. Beautiful garden with views.

A nice little cottage that was perfect for a weekend exploring the area.

It got a bit chilly indoors but we were visiting during summer in the UK so it's to be expected.
