Garden Suburbs Cottage

Location was easily accessible to most destinations, Home was gorgeous and created a lovely home from home atmosphere

Could of been slightly cleaner

This was a cute little cottage in a quiet suburban street. We were able to park right outside. The cottage itself was well equipped, with a comfortable lounge room, nice kitchen/diner and bathroom on the ground floor, and three bedrooms (one double, one twin, and one single) upstairs. The views from the back windows (and patio which we sadly couldn't use due to the rain) were absolutely beautiful. There was a large Tesco just 5 minutes down the road, and lots of nearby places of interest to visit - we highly recommend Castell Coch.

Having the bathroom downstairs was less than ideal, but manageable. A few more pots and pans might have been good but we made do with what was there and the cutlery/crockery was in decent supply.

The cottage is absolutely stunning! The views from the back are breathtaking and to be honest I’m still thinking about them now a week after returning the home. The cottage is decorated lovely and the beds were super comfy with lovely fresh smelling bed linen. Plenty of mirror and hangers etc in the rooms. As we had nice weather all week we didn’t stay inside much but great, comfy sofa that would have fit us all on easily. Lovely bath with some lovely little touches of bath salts and wash etc. Fabulous kitchen with everything you needed and more. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk were all provided even though we had taken our own and some little cookies and crisps too. The back garden is just a little sanctuary. The views are simply breath taking. Fantastic hosts, that were really really accommodating when we asked about a slightly later checkout and super quick k and responsive. I really can’t say enough about this property. We WILL be back.

Laundry facilities

location was very good, clean and well kept

no washing machine (but for a short stay didn’t cause a problem). A bit of a rush having to strip beds before leaving.
