Sunny House with views to Edinburgh Skyline

Easy transport links and views of the city to boot!

We had a great time, this lovely house is equipped with everything you might need for your stay and even more. The host, Lorraine kindly welcomed us at the arrival and a lot of information is provided to get around easily in Edinburgh. The bus-stop is a quick 5 min walk away and you can get to the centre, Princes Street in a 15-20 mins ride, and there is also a shopping centre nearby with a big Sainsbury. The house is really comfy for a family of four, it is clean and meticulously decorated, we loved living in a traditional British home and the garden is also great. We would definitely stay here again.

What a great place start our Scotland holiday. Sunny House has everything we can think of. Thank you, Lorraine, for all the thoughtful extras that helped to make our short stay here so relaxing. Rosie (7 years old) loved having access to a collection of toys that are usually just not there when you're travelling, and Peter and I appreciated your directions and information about buses and local shops that enable us to make the best use of our time here. Thank you again!

Host greeted us very warmly on arrival

Lorraine was the perfect host, very welcoming. Every single wish was catered for and loads of local information available. Instantly felt at home and comfortable. Location was good for accessing all tourist areas and practical shops alike. The house is on several bus routes and easy to navigate. Lovely views, nice neighbourhood and a nice garden complete with visiting fox! Highly recommended!

Parking was steep but not a problem. Stairs to front door also steep, but again, not a problem for us. Mobility restraints might be an issue for some. But then you wouldn't have that lovely view!
