Tui Ridge Cottage

The house was cosy and warm. The food was delicious.

The fire was going when we arrived and the whole house was warm and inviting! We loved the thought and effort that had gone into the quirky decor! The rural and bush views from the picture windows were awesome. We watched the sun come over the hill in the morning and stream into the living area!

I had checked photos on the website to make sure there was a large coffee plunger. Unfortunately the plunger had been removed and replaced with an unreliable Nespresso machine - we would have been happier with the plunger!

We booked this for a family mid winter christmas and while we were lucky to get a sunny winters day, it would not have mattered if it had rained as it is a spacious villa with a large kitchen, beautiful bathroom and a convenient 2nd shower room and additional outdoor stoop style toilet. We took advantage of the catering for a lunch which arrived hot, on time and was supurb. Kirsten is a gracious host and made a special trip to include our young grandchildren who were delighted to pet her dogs and play in the graden. No nearby neighbours so they could make as much noise without disturbing others. All in all, had a fabulous weekend and will definitely return.

We thought there was a microwave as it was list but could not find one, also an iron and ironing board? As we were going to a wedding. It was also further out than we thought

Amazing views, fireplace, lovely interior of the house. Little personal touches made it very homely. My adult children loved sitting around playing the board games there. Plenty of room.

The location was a bit far out from anywhere but it had beautiful views to wake up to. Kirsten was extremely helpful and was always quick to respond

The soft pillows. A few firmer pillows would be nice. Other than that everything was perfect
