"A gorgeous and homey retreat away from the hustle and bustle."

We loved the space we had, the style of the property and stunning views of the surrounding natural landscape. We appreciated the thoughtful favours upon our arrival which included hot water bottles, a gifted plant from directly from the farm and farm fresh eggs. There was also an option to have food supplied by the Te Punga farm host, but be sure to book this is at least one week in advanced.

There didn't seem to be many child friendly activities in the local area i.e. farm related experiences such as picking eggs, interacting with some animals etc. There was go karting, however that was not suitable for a 2yo. Also, the TV remote didn't really work but we were grateful for the WiFi.

"Exceptional"

Fantastic place to stay. Nice and quiet, great to get away from it all. Everything you need and really nicely renovated still keeping the character. Really happy we chose to stay here. No shops close which was great, just make sure you don't forget anything.

"Very good"

Love the fireplace! Though it wasn't able to warm up the entire place, my family enjoyed huddling together in front of it. Toilet was nicely furnished but tap wasn't working so well.

It was very cold and we only found 1 small heater that was working and brought it into our room. The hot water bags helped though.
