"if you want some soul restoration - this is the place to go."

location location location!!! the river right below was amazing! the scenery is amazing. and despite the vold weather, the thatched building was fantastically warm and cosy!

the solar can be amped up a bit. lights woukd hold till midnight then the battery was drained. the system didn't automatically reset. thankfully i knew to reset the regulator in order for power to kick in

Swartkop Cottage was the perfect getaway and recharge. The actual cottage was super cozy and comfy and was quite impressive on how off-grid it was. The views, the scenery and the small wildlife around made the place a total therapy session. Thank you!

The owners were super obliging and willing to help, though signal was a bit of an issue to contact them.
