Bank View next to the Fleece Countryside Inn

Loved the hot tub , stayed here with a few friends for my birthday and it was lovely

Nice inside, however the entrance/gardens didn’t look great. Missing slabs, unkept gardens, water leaks (actual towels on the floor) broken kettle, late response upon arrival and poor communication.

The list is endless from arrival. To turning up on time, messages prior and really poor communication. It was our anniversary and it was spoilt if I’m honest. The grounds don’t look great, the feeling when we pulled up and seeing the tip at the side of the property isn’t great. The text we received late stating all the problems didn’t bode well and how to obtain the key to the property felt a chore. I am very disappointed in how the owner just sent a late message to us upon arrival hitting us with a long list of problems and no very sympathetic just saying this is what’s wrong with the property so deal with it. No message after asking if we enjoyed our stay or if we were settled. I would return to the area but would definitely choose another establishment and host. 5/10!

We loved our stay here. The views were spectacular and the inside was very cozy and comfortable. We'll definitely be returning. Only downside was that we had to leave so soon!

Bank view was really clean and warm. Cosy place and just right for 2 adults and 2 children. Bonus is the hotub which is large and hot overlooking amazing views. Parking available directly outside the property, it is on a main rd which may pose a challenge. Did take a few attempts to get in touch with hosts regarding check in details, was given later than expected hence making the onward journey abit worrying. Not experienced this before after being in many alike accommodations. However the host did make clear why eventually and checked in ok. Heating did go off but was rectified by host who came and sorted the issue. Overall had a lovely stay.

No hot water tap working in bathroom. Hot tub was very hot. ( just manageable)
