Milburn Cottage

this cottage was delightful, it was cozy but well equipped. We were thrilled with the spacious bedroom on the upper level with a ensuite bath. The location was ideal on the central square of the town, close to the pub and a short walk to the Co-op grocery store. We were able to walk 10 minutes from the unit to the start of the hike to the waterfalls. We appreciated the parking right in front of the unit.

Lovely cottage which is well equipped for a short stay and an idea location. Lots of nice touches and a lovely welcome from Steve the owner. Would stay again.

Minor things only to perhaps improve it a bit. Little bit of a musty odour perhaps due to age. Probably ready for a decorating make over and even a new (darker) carpet. Wouldn’t let any of this put anyone off though.

Have everything you could need & more, great location for getting onto the forest with absolutely loads to do right on the door step. Ate at the black bull & the Cheviot- which was outstanding- high recommend

The cottage was beautifully decorated, warm and cosy with everything required for a perfect stay. Lovely comfy bed and great nights sleep. Excellent powerful shower. Nice location within a quiet village close to all local amenities. Steve was a great host and kept us informed before and during our stay. Would highly recommend.

Lovely cottage, superb location, everything you need was provided, plus a late check out. Will definitely be looking to return.
