Milburn Cottage

The property was clean, well equipped & comfortable. Location was close to all local amenities and ideally situated to travel to surrounding places of interest.

For us, there was nothing to dislike about this property.

Great location and the cottage is cosy and very well appointed. It has everything you could need and has been very well looked after. Great to have the washing machine, complete with instructions how to use it. Very comfortable bed and we loved the decor.

The only things that stopped us giving top marks was that the bathroom is very small and there was nowhere to dry towels in there so we had to drape them over the bannisters. The other thing was the lack of instructions for appliances. Lovely to see a coffee maker in there but we had no idea how to use it. There was no information about the heating either, it came on one morning and that was it. Some evening were chilly so the upstairs was a bit cold though we were fine in the living room with the electric fire.

Lovely comfortable cottage. Very cosy. Fantastic shower!

The owners putting themselves out, so we could take the cottage a day earlier. This caused by a power-cut in the village that we had booked for that night.

Smart TV was a bit of a struggle
