Canterbury within the city wall - Sleeps 7 - Pet-Friendly with Garden

Very centrally located, convenient house for visiting the city. The host's instructions were very clear, the house was in good order and everything we needed was there. The garden was a nice bonus to sit out in after getting back from seeing Canterbury.

Road noise, although for me that is an acceptable compromise with being so central. Steep stairs weren't a big issue for us but could be challenging for older or less able people. I found the large artwork in the dining room to be in dubious taste personally and I would not have that in a rental property.

Quite narrow stairs! But that’s what you get in a listed building so all part of the character

Great location close to the High Street, river, theatre and all of Canterbury’s amenities. Comfortable beds and everything a guest could possibly want provided and in working order! Enjoyed the quirky art and gramophones. South facing sheltered garden with garden furniture and parasol was a delight. Great communications from a generous host.

The stairs are very steep.

A typical style property with human kindness attached and a certain flexibility..

It missed a bathroom for the number of people the property could hold.

Great location: close to the city center but just far enough to be quiet. The house is cute, very quaint.

The location was so convenient: only 5 minutes walk to the city center/Westgate. The communication with the host, Chris, was excellent from start to finish. He was very welcoming and helpful. The house was very quirky and charming.

Such an amazing stay. Perfect location and lovely host!
