Alberts Dairy Cottage

Lovely and well equipped accommodation. Kitchen held a dishwasher and washing machine as well as microwave, oven, fridge, induction hob and coffee machine. Parking. Well thought out seating and dining areas. Lovely bathroom and very comfortable bedroom. Close to Osborne house and easy access to other routes across the Island. Rachael had provided a very comprehensive welcome pack which fed us for most of our five day stay. Well stocked with information about places of interest. Rural, lovely views.

Rural location meant we were a bit of a way from even local places to eat but we were provided with a list of Taxi Firm numbers. TV reception was often better in the bedroom than sitting room.

The cottage is stunning. Good quality mattress made for long sleeps after long walks. The island is beautiful and the location of the cottage ideal for exploring

Loved this cute little cottage. It was exceptionally clean and tidy and had a wonderful aroma inside on entering, the bedding was comfortable as was the sofa bed for our daughter. The little extra touches of providing a welcome basket was really nice and made the first day a bit easier as we didn't have to run out for breakfast items.

1. no window in living room to look out from when sitting down, would have like from door glass to be clear for view. 2. sofa slightly uncomfortable and cold due to metal frame underneath for bed . 3. bedroom: bed frame protrudes from mattress and extra care was needed to avoid hitting legs getting in/out of bed and when walking around the bed . * these issues will not prevent me from rebooking and will not be so pronounced in spring/summer time (except of bed frame) as front door could be left open for extra view of outside.

Thoughtfulness of the host, breakfast welcome hamper and additional gift for my partner (for his birthday), the cleanliness and space of the home…just all round lovely place to stay 😊
